Hello there! Welcome and thank you for visiting ELG services.

I am honored you have decided to allow me to join you on your healing journey. I await the opportunity to connect with you and get to know more about what brought you to therapy. You are making one of the best investments in yourself, so take a moment to celebrate yourself!

I know therapy can be intimidating and uncomfortable to consider. Many struggle with the idea of whether they can make their potential “change” a lifestyle. I surely say, “Yes, everyone can! Just not alone and without work!”

Despite what some may say or think, I openly put it out there that I believe therapy is just as important as getting a checkup at your primary care doctor’s office! And, I am not just saying that because it’s my profession. ELG Services isn’t a job I go to. It is a gift, privilege, and opportunity I get to step into every day. To lead others to reach and experience in their unique way, what I invested in for myself and fought without relent to have in my own life… Peace, healing, and freedom from my past!

The mind and heart are valuable tools for every human being. So, what could be more important than preserving and enriching your mind and heart?! When we begin to account for our most frequent thoughts, the source of our emotions, how we speak, and what influences our behaviors… It can be empowering and lead to a self-declaration to living a life full of harmony, intent, and passion.

I encourage you to browse the site, read more about me, and even consider calling to set up a consultation. It would be a great opportunity for you to connect personally and learn about the services I offer. Just like choosing a physician, it is important to consider who you would want as your therapist. The ELG Team and I are here to guide you in your next best step!

“You have chosen to take the road walked least! You have answered the call and a great reward lies ahead for you. And, I respect and admire you for it!” Erika L.G.

about me!

Here at ELG Services, the first hat I wear is “owner and founder”. More importantly, I currently serve as the primary therapist on staff. I am a Licensed Marriage (Marital) and Family Therapist in Connecticut and in Florida. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 14 years. I have worked with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, familial dynamics, and varying life circumstances. Through my experience, I have developed extensive clinical training in working with the following specialties and issues:  parents/parenting, spirituality, life transitions/adjustment, self-care/wellness, women’s issues, professional development, relationship conflict, interpersonal development, living with chronic illness, domestic violence, and trauma; among other areas of needs.

I have been very fortunate to have had a wide range of exposure in my earlier working years. Since, my therapeutic focus has narrowed to working with women, parents, and couples. Whether it is to navigate the challenges of relationships, life transitions, identity, boundary setting, emotional wellness, spirituality, and/or healing from past trauma, my style is collaborative and strength-based. Therapy can provide a unique space to gain insight and let go of what is no longer useful.

When you know your strengths, you can shift your perspective from inward to outward. Looking at the bigger picture can help you grow in self-compassion and other self-loving actions.

Potential lies within all human beings! Together, we will find the resources you have had within you all along and the patterns of behavior that are keeping you feeling stuck in old ways. I value relationships and believe healthy relationships allow people to thrive. This relationship can be with yourself, your spouse, your child, or any other person. My goal is for you to have a breakthrough and a shift in your perspective of yourself, because if your relationship with yourself changes, that change will overflow into every other area of your life!

Now, I recognize it can be difficult finding peace within the complexities of life. However, I also recognize therapy can be the catalyst to foster healing, transformation, reconnection with your purpose, enhance how you show up in relationships, and so much more. This can lead to a restoration of what was lost and allow you to be one step closer to leading the life you always envisioned.

Capture this vision…

What if you could move from obscure to clear vision, from stuck to free, and from discouraged to confidently ready to face life with courage and passion? What if you took a chance and believed you would sit more comfortably in that place rather than what you have now? What if you took a risk and answered the call to begin again and believe it can possibly be what you always hoped?! Start today and see where it takes you!
